Being the lesser-known Pandya is not easy, especially when your brother saved your nation from an embarrassing exit from the World Cup. However, being the tournament it is, IPL has sprung another surprise in the name of Krunal Pandya, the elder brother of Hardik Pandya. His late hitting has saved MI from positions of failure twice now against Gujarat Lions and Sunrisers. Krunal was also handy with the ball against Gujarat, ending with figures of 1/20 from 4 overs. He scored an unbeaten 49 against the Sunrisers and in the following game at home got rid of both AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli in the same over to prove his utility with the ball.
