Virat Kohli simply cannot resist being a part of the team’s training session, even though he is out of the action after sustaining a shoulder injury. He was seen carrying drinks for his boys on the first day of the final test at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, he was again back on the training ground on Monday before the start of play on the third day.

A warm-up session is held before the start of any day’s play, and the Indian captain didn’t want to miss the action and he joined the other boys in the warm-up knowing that he can’t take part in the game. This just goes on to prove that the 28-year-old is very committed to his team. BCCI posted a photo of the same on Twitter which read: “The skip, never out of action #TeamIndia #INDvAUS.”

Kohli, though injured in the Ranchi Test, has been around the boys from the start of the Dharamsala game. Be it bringing drinks on the first day when the umpires were busy taking a look at the shape of the ball in the first session and asked for a new ball, or encouraging the debutant Kuldeep Yadav when the bowler got a bit emotional after picking his maiden Test wicket.

Kohli has been trying his level best to be amidst the players since he knows that his presence is integral in the final game of what has been a volatile series.

Opener KL Rahul said India would have highly benefitted from the aggression and energy Virat Kohli brings to the team.

“We are missing Virat Kohli. Somebody like that we’ve all played under him and he’s been a huge influence on everybody in the team and he always sets great examples for us. I know he leads from the front and his aggression and energy is something that would have been really good for us,” Rahul said.
