India, over the years, have strained to taste much success in England in any format. Virat Kohli was the skipper and the onus was on him to change their fortunes on English soil. He didn’t disappoint at least in the T20I series. His men lost the second match at the Sophia Gardens but ensured that they win the remaining two contests in Manchester and Bristol to clinch the series by 2-1.

Virat was impressive with the willow as he scored 110 runs in three matches at an average of 55, which aren’t mediocre numbers even by Kohli’s standards. The Indian captain had other reasons to cheer as well with the presence of Anushka Sharma, his better-half, during their victorious campaign. The Bollywood actress joined her hubby in Cardiff.

Both were spotted sitting inside the team bus. The couple also attended MS Dhoni’s birthday where they had a gala time. Virat posted a picture along with his spouse and the former Indian captain. Another incident of their affinity was spotted after yesterday’s triumph at the County Ground in Bristol. In the post-match show, the likes of Kumar Sangakkara and others shared their analysis on the match.

In the meantime, the lovebirds were spotted in the backdrop, hugging each other. The 30-year old actress would definitely be happy for the success, her husband has tasted in recent times.

Despite the series win, the 29-year can’t afford any complacency as the Men in Blue will play the Brits in a three-match ODI series. Eoin Morgan and Co are ranked number one in the ODI format and it won’t be a cakewalk for Virat’s men to roll their opponents over. The first match will be played on July at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham. The Test series gets underway from August 1.
