Kevin Pietersen had a wonderful campaign in the Big Bash League down under. He is currently under contract with the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League. If the Gladiators make it to the final it will be a tough choice for the destructive batsman to make as he is still not sure about playing in Pakistan.

The final is scheduled at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore and it will go as planned, stated the Chairman of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Najam Sethi. There have been a lot of questions over the security of the players and those have been raised after a recent suicide bombing that killed more than a dozen people. Sethi claimed that if the fans want the final to take place in Pakistan then it will take place in Pakistan. Even if they have to do it without the foreign players.

Amidst all this, Pietersen was criticised for his few poor performances. He stated that runs don’t bother him. He also went on to say that in sports you have more bad days than the good days and you get used to it. “I just came back from Big Bash. Low scores don’t bother me, it may bother others who comment on the game but not to me. In sports life you have more bad days than the good days so I am doing my best, let’s see what happens next,” Pieterson was quoted saying while talking to ANI.

He was also asked if he will feature in the Indian Premier League this season and the player answered negatively. He said he won’t play in the IPL as he has to look after his family. The South African-born British batsman has a year-old daughter and he says that family grows only once.

Kevin said: “I have no plans to play after this PSL ends, I have to give time to my family as the family grows once. I have a year-old daughter, so I have no plans to stay away from her for two-more months.”
