Preview:

The last Friday was a memorable day for the United States of America who hosted an ODI game for the first time. They took on Papua New Guinea and ended up registering their first ODI win. They were successful in restricting PNG to 159/6 while defending a revised target of 165 in 23 overs. They will now face Namibia on Tuesday who are fresh of a 4-0 T20I series win at home against Botswana. The returned to official Internationals earlier this year and are unbeaten thus far.

They featured in six matches during the 2003 World Cup and ended up losing by big margins. They faced Oman in April this year which was their first ODI in 16 years. They marked the occasion by registering their maiden ODI win with a huge 145-run win. Later in May, the Namibian team made their T20I debut and won all the seven matches they played in this format. No other side has played as many T20Is with 100% win record.

Weather Condition/Report:

The weather is expected to be clear on Tuesday with no cloud covering. However, there are slight chances of showers from 2 PM local like during the first match. But those showers might not cause major interruption to the game.

Pitch Condition/Report:

Florida’s Lauderhill was little sticky in the morning due to the moisture. However, as the game progressed, the runs coming became slightly easier. Once again we could see the first batting side scoring around 250.

Average first innings score: 250 (ODI matches)

Record of chasing teams: Won – 0, Lost – 1

Expert Advice:

Namibia’s Craig Williams has great experience with both bat and ball. However, the 35-year-old hasn’t been in great form. His teammate JP Kotze is capable of hitting big scores but is too inconsistent. These two players could be profitable but are risky.

Probable Winners:

The USA could face a tough fight from Namibia, a team with good depth in all departments.
