Everyone has seen the biggest of sixes. Chris Gayle’s sixes have, more often than not, landed in the parking lot. With batting blades getting wider and thicker, it seems easier for most batsmen to whack the ball into the stands.

The ongoing Pakistan Super League in Dubai is currently witnessing the six-hitting meter rip the older charts to shreds. While the likes of Chris Gayle are favourites to smash the ball out of the stadium, there are many others who are more than willing to take their chances.

In a recent Pakistan Super League match, the hard-hitting Mohammed Hafeez attempted to smash the ball out of the park. In spite of not being able to do so, the 35-year-old Pakistani international hit the ball so hard that it was eventually embedded on the roof. Although it being permanent damage to the roof, the 35-year-old Hafeez has stamped his mark on the Dubai Cricket stadium with a massive six off the bowling of Ravi Bopara.

Bowling towards the end of the innings, Ravi Bopara began attempting the yorker. Hafeez however, got on one knee and smashed it over deep mid-wicket.

Mohammed Hafeez, who has been picked for the World T20 squad will definitely be expected to use his experience given the large number of inexperienced players in the side. The ongoing Pakistan Super League is expected to get over a few days before the start of the Asia Cup in Bangladesh.
