Krishmar Santokie is a proven T20 specialist who has earned a very commendable name in the T20 Leagues around the world. For anyone who had doubts over his credentials in this format must have missed today’s stunning bowling performance where he picked up 4 wickets in four balls.

Today’s MCL clash between Gemini Arabians and Sagittarius Strikers was a total blast. Sehwag turned the Strikers bowlers into mere spectators as he smashed the ball everywhere, scoring 134 from just 63 balls. He batted until the penultimate over. The Arabians were sitting comfortably at a 200 plus total and everyone was only talking about Virender Sehwag’s mind blowing knock.

However, there was even more exciting waiting to happen in the match. Krishmar Santokie (1/29) came in to bowl the last over of the innings. The Arabians were at 223/2 at this stage and Sangakkara was at the strike. Santokie dismissed Sanga off the first ball of the over. Australian Brad Hodge was the next victim. Santokie got better of Justin Kemp to complete his hattrick. The sweet moment did not end for the West Indian as he topped his hattrick it another wicket of Naved ul Hasan, making it a world record four wickets in four balls.

The last ball also resulted in a wicket but it didn’t go into Santokie’s kitty as it was run out. Chanderpaul took strike for the last ball and flicked the ball towards deep square leg and completed a single. But, Kyle Mills at the other end rushed in to steal a second run without calling for the West Indian legend and thus was run out at the wicket- keeper’s end.

Santokie, who had announced his retirement from international cricket just before the MCl to join the league, bowler had achieved such an unbelievable record. Also, it was the first Hattrick and the first five-wicket haul of the league.
