India batted beautifully on Day Three and Day Four as well. They were put in a spot of bother after losing six wickets being 123 runs behind. But thanks to Pujara and Saha they battled it out with the Aussies to get India past their total.

A double century from Pujara and a century from Saha with a quickfire fifty from Jadeja meant that Australia were lagging India by 151 runs. India declared their innings on 603 with only a wicket in hand. There were a lot of questions over Virat Kohli’s fitness.

However, the team was led onto the field by the Indian captain despite a gruesome injury to his shoulder. The energy he brings to the field is just mind blowing as India were pumped as the nervy Aussie openers took guard.

Ashwin was hit for two boundaries in his first over but Warner was looking to hit his way out of the last few overs. Jadeja troubled the batters as he bowled into the rough from the Pavilion end. David Warner did not look comfortable at all while defending and that’s how got out. The man from Baroda bowled it right into the rough and the ball spun square to go between the bat and the pad dismantling the stumps.

This led to a huge and wild celebration from the Indians and was led by none other than Virat Kohli. He was mocked by the Australians by holding his shoulder after he got out and he did the same. Virat did some high knees right in the face of Warner while patting his shoulder with all passion in the world.

The celebration was not healthy for the Indian skipper as he was seen struggling with his right shoulder. It will be interesting if Virat takes the field tomorrow. Vijay yesterday said in his conference that Australia might have gone over the top with their celebrations and India are yet to take the field.

Australia have already lost two wickets and are 129 runs behind India. Tomorrow’s day will be an interesting affair as India are the favourites from here on.
