West Indies has named their 15-man squad for the three-match Test series against Pakistan side which is set to begin at Dubai from October 13 after the conclusion of the ODI and the ongoing T20I series.

The West Indies selectors have made only one addition to the squad which played against India earlier during their home series. Left-arm orthodox bowler Jomel Warrican has been drafted into the squad.

With Kraigg Brathwaite, Jermaine Blackwood, Shai Hope, Leon Johnson, Marlon Samuels and Darren Bravo and wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich, a total of seven batsmen feature in the 15-man squad. Skipper Jason Holder, Carlos Brathwaite and Roston Chase will perform the all-rounders’ duties. The selectors have also opted for five bowlers – three right-arm pacers, a leg spinner and a left-arm spinner.

Apart from Warrican, leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo is the only other specialist spinner in the West Indies squad. Shannon Gabriel and Miguel Cummins will lead the pace attack along with the Under-19 World Cup-winning fast bowler Alzarri Joseph.

West Indies play three Tests in the UAE, the first in Dubai from October 13 being the maiden day-night fixture for both teams. The second Test is in Abu Dhabi from October 21, and the third in Sharjah from October 30.

West Indies squad: Jason Holder (C), Kraigg Brathwaite (VC), Devendra Bishoo, Jermaine Blackwood, Carlos Brathwaite, Darren Bravo, Roston Chase, Miguel Cummins, Shane Dowrich (WK), Shannon Gabriel, Shai Hope, Leon Johnson, Alzarri Joseph, Marlon Samuels, Jomel Warrican.
