Coming into the match, the Indian’s were 1-0 up in the 2-match T20I series. Batting first the home side amassed a big total of 177 runs with MS Dhoni (38), Virat Kohli (38) and Suresh Raina (35) playing quick-fire innings. In reply England got off to a flyer as the openers Lumb and Hales added 80 runs. In the final 3 overs the tourists needed 37 runs but English skipper Eoin Morgan was going strong. But ultimately it came down to the last ball of the match with England needing 3 runs to win. But, Morgan smashed a straight six over Ashok Dinda’s head and won his side a jaw-dropping encounter.
