T20 cricket has been the fuel cricket needed to attract viewers. It has been always said that it has declined the popularity of Test match cricket. But, it has somehow contributed to the growth of the game because of its demands. Take the case of Virat Kohli.

The Indian captain is one of the fittest cricketers in the game. Adding on, he has started off a revolution related to fitness in cricket. Somehow, this trend has been followed in other teams as well. So, who are the fittest ones that have yet to get a chance to represent their nation?

But, apart from his batting and bowling skills, Sharma is one of the fittest uncapped players in the cricket world as well. He sometimes posts his training pictures on social media platforms as well. In the 2019 season of the IPL, he showcased his fitness when he had to cover some ground and dive to take the catch of Pollard.

The youngster was fielding at long-off, as the ball was rushing towards the boundary, he maintained his balance and threw the ball back inside. He saved four crucial runs for his side.

Harvey made it to the headlines because of his fielding effort against Sydney Thunder. As Alex Hales attempted to cut the ball, Harvey dived and took a screamer. This effort made the commentators on air say that it was “One of the best catches you will ever see!”.

His fitness level was on full display. He had to dive to his left and all he had was a fraction of a second. Aaron Finch later said that he thinks that Harvey is the best fielder in the world. Well, if Harvey improves his game with the bat, he might get into the national squad. Then, the world might witness his fitness and dedication on the field.

The current Mumbai Indians team is one of the strongest ever. It has the likes of Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, the Pandya brothers, and Pollard. If one fails, the other one stands up. Well, the management has put up a complete team.

But, there is one player who warms the benches and sets the field on fire with his fielding. This is Anukul Roy, one of the lesser-known faces in the Indian cricket circuit. He is a terrific athlete and maintains his fitness every season. Whenever a player goes off the field for MI, there is Anukul Roy who takes his place.

Last year, he took a blinder to dismiss Mahipal Lomror. Apart from this incident, there are many instances where Anukul has displayed his fitness through his fielding. If Mumbai Indians are thinking of making a few substantial changes in their squad, they should give Anukul a chance to showcase his skills.

He has been a prime example of being fit during this pandemic. Jackson has played crucial roles for his domestic side with the bat. In the Ranji Trophy, he averaged nearly 50.56. This was a priceless contribution as in that season, Saurashtra went on to lift the trophy.

Well, this success at the domestic level is all because of his fitness. Jackson keeps on posting workout videos on Instagram. Without any doubt, he is one of the fittest cricketers in India.

When it comes to fitness, Mayank Dagar is at the top of the list. He is a domestic cricketer for Himachal Pradesh and has earned headlines for his fitness achievements. Mayank was relatively unknown until he outperformed Indian captain Virat Kohli in the yo-yo test. Well, Virat Kohli is one of the most popular names in the sport when it comes to fitness and hence, this is a huge achievement.

Dagar had posted a story on Instagram, in which he stated that his yo-yo test score was 19.3. Apart from this, he also scored more than Manish Pandey in the test. Hence, he has been working religiously on his fitness.

Although Dagar is yet to make a name for himself with the bat, he usually misses out. Maybe, he will get a chance to showcase his fitness to the world if he gets into the playing eleven in the next season. But for the time being, he is one of the most dedicated players in the Indian cricket circuit.
