India has played 4 and won all the 4 here, with the latest one being against South Africa in the ongoing Freedom Series. England have lost twice while the West Indies were beaten once by India at this ground. The latter being a memorable match for Virender Sehwag who slammed 219 runs off only 149 balls. The Arbab Niaz Stadium – England, 4 wins: (Source) England has played 4 ODIs at this ground against 4 different oppositions winning on all occasions. 3 of these are World Cup matches against Sri Lanka (1987), U.A.E and Netherlands while one was against Pakistan in the bilateral series in 1987. Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium – Bangladesh, 4 wins: (Source) Home of the local Bangladesh Premier League franchise Khulna Royal Bengals, the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium was one of the five purpose-built cricket grounds established in the run-up to the 2004 Under-19 World Cup. It was finally granted one-day international status in January 2006. The ground has hosted 4 ODIs with all matches featuring the hosts Bangladesh, who have a perfect winning record here. Kenya and Zimbabwe lost once while the West Indies have lost twice at this venue. 7. TIO Stadium, Darwin – Australia, 4 wins: (source) Marrara Oval (also known as Football Park and currently called TIO Stadium due to naming rights) is a sports ground in the Northern Territory of Australia. The ground was built in 1991 and Australian rules football and cricket are primarily played at the venue. The ground has hosted 4 ODIs with all matches featuring the hosts Australia and Bangladesh. The Aussies outplayed the visitors in all of these matches. One ODIs was played in the year 2003 while the other 3 were played in the 2008. 6. M. A. Chidambaram Stadium – Australia, 4 wins: (source) This historic stadium was established in 1916 and is the oldest continuously used cricket stadium in India. The Chepauk crowd is known to be amongst the most appreciative in the country. The Pakistani team made a lap of honor in appreciation of the spectators’ sporting behavior when Pakistan won a Test match here in 1999. The Australians seemed to have enjoyed the hospitality on offer here, something which is evident from their performances here. They beat India in a Reliance World Cup match played on 9th October 1987. With the Aussies winning by 1 run, this match remains one of the most dramatic ODI matches ever played. The University Oval – New Zealand, 5 wins: (source) The ground is the home of both the Otago Cricket Association and the University of Otago Rugby Football Club, and is also used as a training base for the Highlanders Rugby Football team. The Kiwis have played 5 and won 5 ODIs here defeating Bangladesh once in 2010, Zimbabwe once in 2012, Sri Lanka twice in 2015 and Scotland once in the 2015 World Cup match. The University Oval hosted the first game where the Umpire Decision Review System was used. It was that third Test between Pakistan and New Zealand when it was first used in international cricket. 3. It was the first of the Caribbean’s seven new World Cup stadiums to open, staging its first ODI in May 2006 and its first Test a month later. It is named after Sir Thomas Warner, the explorer who established the first English colony on St. Kitts. The Australians have played 5 ODIs here and won all of these.
