2. Ravi Bishnoi
Ravi Bishnoi is another young Indian bowler who came to the spotlight after making his international debut for India earlier this year. Although the canny spinner enjoyed an underwhelming outing in IPL 2022, he was rewarded with a recall to the national squad for the recently concluded Windies series.
The 21-year-old has been a constant nuisance for the opposition batters, especially with his sharp turning googlies. He featured for the Men in Blues on three occasions against the Caribbean side and impressed by scalping eight wickets, including a career-best 4/16.
Bishnoi was one of the surprising picks in the Indian squad for the Asia Cup as the management opted to go for four frontline spinning options. But the re-emergence of Kuldeep Yadav does not bode well for the leggies and he is likely to miss out on a berth for the T20 WC later this year.
