5 Batsmen who got run-out on 99 in ODIs:
1. Graeme Smith 99 (106b) v Sri Lanka, 2002
In the second ODI of the 5 match series South Africa chose to bat first Smith looked in fine touch right away. A brilliant partnership with Dippenaar took them to a big score of 317 at the end. But the innings involved an unlucky instance as Smith was out for 99 when chancing the arm of Sanath Jayasuriya. Jayawardene collected the ball well and dislodged the bails. The innings interestingly witnessed 2 more run outs with Kallis and Boucher meeting the same fate. South Africa eventually won the game by a massive margin of 177 runs as Sri Lanka folded for a paltry 140.
