Having kicked off its journey in 2008, the fancy league has only grown to be magnificent in all these years.

1. Jasprit Bumrah
The deadly pacer from Gujarat is proving to be havoc for the finest of batsmen around the world for years now. Being a consistent performer in the domestic circuit, Bumrah has proven to be a big menace for batsmen globally. It was John Wright whose eyes were stuck on the young sensation in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, and this is how he broke into the Mumbai squad in 2013.
However, he didn’t feature regularly from Mumbai’s side in his debut year but eventually became an integral part of it. He was away from the game in 2014-15 owing to his injury but came back with a bang. Since 2016, he became the permanent face and leader of pace attacks for Mumbai and clinched 15 wickets in the season. Having played a total of 77 IPL matches, he has 82 wickets to his credit with an economy of 7.56
He broke into the Indian squad in 2016 while being on tour to Australia as a replacement for Mohammed Shami. Since then, there has been no turning back, and the 26-year-old now stands to be one of the biggest troubles even for the best of batsmen. He has 68 Test, 104 ODI, and 59 T20I wickets to his credit. The young man is currently at the second position in ICC ODI bowler rankings.
