In an attempt to match up to the brilliance of IPL and bring back cricketing action to Pakistan, PSL kick-started a couple of years ago. Thus far, all the people involved in the tournament can proudly pat themselves on their back and say “Job well done!”. PSL has managed to lift the spirits of various Pakistani fans and the tournament has already produced some amazing talents to Pakistan’s national side.

Peshawar Zalmi under the incredible leadership of Darren Sammy won the previous edition of this tournament. The star-studded unit will once again be under the scanner to perform well and considering all sides are looking wonderful on the paper, the tournament is not getting any easy for them or the rest.

Keeping all the serious facets aside, no T20 League is complete without a little fun and a certain Caribbean flair. PSL had a fair share of both these aspects over the course of time. From Sammy’s selfie celebrations to Rumman Raees’ “Nonchalant Celebration”, here are some of the most comical incidents from the tournament’s history.

On the field or off the field, the Caribbean lads never fail to entertain. Wherever they go, they bring a spark and Darren Sammy is a perfect example. The two time ICC World T20 winning skipper was all set to bowl the final delivery of the match between Peshawar Zalmi and the Karachi Kings. Suddenly, a fan invaded the pitch and demanded a selfie from the West Indian.

The Peshawar Zalmi skipper accepted the request gleefully and clicked a selfie with the fan. The entire Zalmi dugout was on their feet laughing at the incident and also applauding the wonderful human being Sammy is. It really brought a huge smile on the fan’s faces and not many will forget the incident for a long time to come.
