World Champions Australia will face the hosts West Indies in the final of the tri-series on 26th June at Bridgetown. Windies and the Aussies had played thrice against each other in this series and Australia leads it by 2 wins to 1. The hosts won 2 out of their last 3 matches at this venue and will be looking to continue on their winning ways, whereas Australia will be high on confidence after the having beaten them in their last encounter at the same venue.
1. Steve Smith:
Australian skipper, Steve Smith is surely a key player to watch out for with the kind of form he is in. He has 218 runs under his belt from 6 matches and is the third highest run-scorer of the series, behind Marlon Samuels (252) and Hashim Amla (241). The skipper has scored three half-centuries in the series, which is the most by any batsman.
He has also led the side exceptionally well, with an out and out attacking intent. He has made the right combination of bowling changes and made the most of the opportunities, whenever the opposition has made a mistake.
