The Mumbai Indians is one such team that has looked in complete control in IPL 2020. They have been toppling oppositions with their fearless brand of cricket. And by the looks of it, they are well on course to add another trophy to their cabinet. Such has been their dominance it is really difficult to find a blemish in their campaign. The only thing where the team can be criticized is that they haven’t tested their bench strength enough.

In particular, they have not given a single opportunity to a couple of their T20 veterans present in the squad. The Australian T20 specialist, Chris Lynn, is one of those names. Yes, you heard it right the cricketer who has played more than 200 T20s is warming the benches in the IPL. Lynn, who was snapped by the Mumbai Indians in the 2020 auctions was expected to open the innings in this season.

However, the red-hot form of Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan at the top has kept him on the sidelines. Lynn has been a recognized T20 opener and has scored close to 4000 runs. In the IPL also, he has set the stage on fire with his dazzling performances in the Purple and Gold jersey. Unfortunately, an individual who has piled on over 400 runs in his last two IPL seasons is yet to get a game in this season. Mumbai should have at least tried to give him a chance to don the Blue jersey.
