5 Reasons Why 400 is the New 300 in ODIs: Power hitting and intensified swaggering is the new cheat code for success in the shorter versions of the game. We witness totals of over 400 runs being surpassed in ODIs with acute ease. And the thing doesn’t end here. We further witness totals of 400 even prove tough to defend on occasions. As many as 5 totals surpassing 400 have been made in this year so far in ODIs.

This smashing new era of cricket has shifted the balance in favour of the batsmen, leaving marginal scopes for a bowlers.
