In both the ODIs, majority of the batsmen of the Indian line up were dismissed for loose shots, completely unmatched to the game situations. Kohli was dismissed while he tried to cut a wide ball on the first ODI. Rahane got out as he tried to chip a ball over the extra cover region. Undoubtedly, the batsmen failed to show maturity throughout the series as a result of which there were batting collapses resulting in dreadful consequences.
