Even this record of scoring the most runs in international cricket is profoundly owned by the God of cricket. To break his impregnable figures, Virat Kohli will find it utterly overwhelming. However, in this iconic list, Kohli also ranks himself at number seven with 23,650 runs in accumulation.

Interestingly to pursue this, the cricketer will have to get almost 1600-1700 runs each year across formats. Considering that Virat plays till 40, he will have to trounce upon the deficit of around 10,700 runs. Nonetheless, even his recent tally of runs in the last two years discourages King Kohli to attain this feat.

The 33-year old has not even passed more than 1000 runs across formats in both 2020 & 2021. In addition to this, Virat is also expected to give up on a format (specifically T20Is) to prolong his international career. Hence even this achievement will be out of his reach in international cricket.
