AB de Villiers signs in as brand ambassador of MRF: South African captain AB de Villiers reached Chennai to play the 4^th ODI against India at the Chepauk. Since the cricketer was in the city, tyre manufacturing company MRF Limited signed AB de Villiers as the brand ambassador of MRF Limited.

The Madras Rubber Factory Limited’s Chairman and Managing Director KM Mammen officially handed over the agreement to De Villiers at the MRF office in Chennai.

AB de Villiers said it’s an honor for him to be associated with a successful company like MRF. He sounded really excited on being the brand ambassador and said: “I look forward to making an important contribution to the company. It is also a great honour for me, as a proud South African, to be associated with such a successful Indian company, which is one of the largest manufacturers of tyres in this part of the world.”

The South African cricketer has signed a three year agreement with MRF as per company norms. Hereafter AB will endorse MRF’s products and services through advertisement campaigns and more such promotional events and programmes.

AB de Villiers has visited India every year to be a play in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore and is a popular cricketer all over the country. His fan base is quite evident since fans were heard chanting his name at all the stadiums India and South Africa have played thus far in the tour.

The South African skipper is loved so much due to his fascinating batting style which leaves even the opponents mesmerized and every cricket fan wants him to perform irrespective of team loyalties.
