Ajinkya Rahane wishes Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher on her birthday

The prominent Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher is celebrating her 27th birthday today as the wishes are flooding in for her on social media. Saiyami, who made her Bollywood debut with Mirzya movie, has more than decent liking towards cricket and keeps on tweeting in support of Team India every now and then. She also shares a special camaraderie with some of the cricketers and one of them is Ajinkya Rahane who has also spared time to wish his friend on her special day.

Rahane is currently in England even as the Indian team is doing well in the World Cup which is being played in the same country. The vice-captain of India’s Test team is currently part of Hampshire team and is playing in the ongoing County Championship.

Saiyami Kher seems to be very close to Ajinkya Rahane and his wife Radhika Dhopavkar as she is often seen spending time with them. Even the cricketer and Saiyami recently went to watch a Tennis match at Wimbledon. Rahane, posting the same picture along with her, wished the birthday girl.

Rahane’s County stint

As far as his County stint is concerned, Ajinkya Rahane is not having a great time playing for Hampshire. While batting at three or four, the 31-year-old has mustered only 194 runs in four matches and seven innings for his team. He has scored runs at a mediocre average of 27.71 and has scored only a solitary century. Rahane has bagged as many as three ducks but the batsman will be hoping to improve in the upcoming matches and gain more confidence.

He will be next seen in action during India’s tour of West Indies for the two-match Test series. The Test championship also begins with this series and Ajinkya Rahane will be keen on scoring a lot of runs for the team.
