England pace spearhead James Anderson has been in terrible form in recent times. Especially on the ongoing tour of India, where the ball doesn’t swing much, the 33-year old has been on the receiving end of some flak for some horrific bowling. He also missed out the Chennai Test with an injury. However, things have gone from bad to worse for the premier England pacer as he was involved in a tussle with Indian spinner Ravi Ashwin.

Anderson also has taken only four wickets from the three Test matches he played including the time when he went wicket-less at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Brits now stand on the brink of being handed a whitewash in India should they lose the encounter at Chepauk. Amul, face of Indian dairy products, however, is back with some pun directed towards the 33-year old England pacer.

James Anderson and his critique of Indian skipper Virat Kohli were slammed by many cricketers following the latter’s 235 at the Wankhede that eventually saw the Indians complete an impressive innings win over the Brits. “I’m not sure he’s changed. I just think any technical deficiencies he’s got aren’t in play out here. The wickets just take that out of the equation,” said Anderson after he was asked over Kohli’s batting technique.

The reply from Virat Kohli was a simple two words: ‘move on’ that went a long way in terms of sportsmanship, to say the least. However, it was a rather terrible and problematic issue that crept up when Ravichandran Ashwin went on to suggest that Anderson needed to understand the ‘importance of accepting defeat’. Amul’s latest topical on the matter says, ‘Jimmy, we can’t Anderstand you!” That was really an impressive way of playing around someone’s name and further added more to it, “VI rate it highly!” VI stands for Virat Kohli here.
