An act of shame Bangladesh supporters attack Indian fan Sudhir Gautam in Dhaka: Well renowned ardent Indian fan Sudhir Gautam has claimed that he was attacked by Bangladeshi cricket fans in Dhaka on Sunday. The avid fan of team India who is widely recognized for attending every home match since 2003 was attacked by a mob on Sunday in Dhaka following Bangladesh’s series win over India.

The 34 year old who always paints his body with the Indian tri-color and the name of Tendulkar on his back told a Hindi news channel he was attacked by a mob following the 2nd ODI of the series against Bangladesh at Dhaka. Sudhir, the passionate Indian team supporter travels all over the world and is in regular attendance for most of team India’s matches. He had come to Bangladesh to see the bilateral series between India and Bangladesh.

Sudhir said he was “pelted by stones” and his “auto-rickshaw was attacked” in Dhaka. He said security officials came to his rescue when the infuriated mob chased him. Bangladesh have provided MS Dhoni and team India with maximum security and even banned terror outfits with anti-Indian sentiments. The attack came as a shock to many Indians and it certainly and the regrettable, immature act has shown Bangladesh in bad light.
