'Are you a fan of cricket?' - A young fan asks Andrew Flintoff, his response surprises the fan

Andrew Flintoff is one of the legends of England cricket. In a career that spanned more than a decade, Flintoff represented the England side in 79 Tests, 141 ODI matches, and 7 T20Is.

However, Flintoff met a young cricket fan in the United Kingdom (UK) who did not even know that he was an international cricketer. In fact, the fan asked the former England all-rounder as to whether he follows cricket.

The young fan also asked Flintoff as to which IPL team he supports and the 44-year-old cricket legend told the fan that he is a supporter of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise. And then, Flintoff revealed that he has even played for the MS Dhoni-led outfit.

Andrew Flintoff further told the fan that he has played for the CSK side in the year 2008. The fan looked back at Flintoff with a sense of surprise and admitted that back in 2008, he was not following cricket as he was only a child then. Andrew Flintoff has played 3 matches in the IPL and has scored 62 runs in his IPL career. With the ball, the right arm pacer scalped 2 willow wielders in the Indian T20 League.

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are one of the most successful IPL franchises, having won the IPL title a staggering 4 times. The MS Dhoni-led ‘Yellow Brigade’ emerged as the champions in the 2021 edition of the tournament as well that was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians (MI) have won the IPL on 5 occasions.
