Dark clouds loom over the Bangladesh v India Asia Cup T20 final at the Sher-e-Bangla Nationa Stadium in Mirpur since there is a thunderstorm in Dhaka at the moment.

The weather doesn’t look supportive, there was a drizzle, and many said was just a passing shower but it has stayed on for longer. Then we saw thunder as well, looks more like a thunderstorm. Flood lights at the stadium were switched off as a precautionary measure. The covers were taken off once but had to be rushed in again.

There is still some drizzle there while we have already crossed the time scheduled for the start of the game. It looks bad at the moment, will at least, take an hour or so to clear out, the umpires will like to have a look at the outfield to see how fit it is for the game to start. The drainage system at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium is really good and once the rain stops, the ground staff will swiftly come into action.

As per the information we have at the moment, 10:45 PM is the last time for the game to start if it starts then it will be a 5 over a side match. There is no reserve day and in case, there is no game today both Bangladesh and India will share the trophy.
