All eyes on Shaw

“It was heartbreaking to see him go down. But the good thing is he’s recovering quickly. He’s already started walking. We’ll make a call as and when we get closer to Perth,” Shastri was quoted as saying in cricket.com.au.

After the incredible knock, Shaw was eventually nipped out by leg-break bowler Daniel Fallins.

A couple of months ago, Prithvi made his debut against Windies in the two-match Test series. In the very first contest itself at SCA Stadium in Rajkot, he churned out his maiden Test century and he didn’t flatter to deceive in Hyderabad as well. Prior to the series, he also got a national call-up in England for the last two Tests but didn’t get an opportunity to put forth his prowess with the bat in hand.
