The match starts at 9:00 AM local time (3:00 AM GMT) (8:30 AM IST).

Preview:

The 3-match unofficial ODI series against the Sri Lanka Emerging team got off to a disastrous start for the Bangladesh Emerging team. They were bundled out for 118 while chasing a huge target of 305. Opener Saif Hasan scored a 70-ball 50 and was the only player to score 20-run mark for the home team. As many as seven Bangladesh ET’s batsmen were dismissed for single digits.

Earlier, the visiting side posted 304/7 in their 50 overs after electing to bat first. Six out of Sri Lanka Emerging team’s top seven scored more than 25 runs. Skipper Charith Asalanka scored 71 from 79 deliveries. The major contribution came in from Wanindu Hasaranga who struck a 46-ball 70 with seven fours and three maximums. He later bagged a 4-wicket haul in the six overs he bowled.

Weather Condition/Report:

Savar is expected to have high temperatures on Wednesday. The precipitation is less than 20% during the match timings. There could be rain from around 8 PM local time well after the conclusion of the match.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The couple of unofficial ODIs that the KSP Ground hosted recently suggests the venue is bat first and win. Bangladesh A posted 262 and won by 62 runs against Afghanistan A last month. In the previous match, the team from Sri Lankan finished with 304 after surviving early struggles. They could see some swing in the first innings due to the early start.

Wanindu Hasaranga had a near-perfect game during 1st ODI where he scored a quick-fire 70 and bagged a 4-wicket haul. He might not replicate such performance but can score 30+ and pick up a couple of wickets every game.

Suggested Playing XI No.1 for Fantasy Cricket:

Keeper – Sandun Weerakkody

Expert Advice:

Bangladesh is expected to be unchanged despite the big defeat. They fielded their best possible line-up in the first game without major performances. Jehan Daniel bowled only two overs in the last game and was taken for 22 runs. He could be replaced by Kalana Perera.

Probable Winners:

Sri Lanka Emerging Team is expected to seal the series with the experience on their side.
