All the statistical highlights from a 48-run win for the Sydney Sixers over the Perth Scorchers:
A rare win for the Sydney Sixers in Perth:
2012 – The last instance of the Sydney Sixers winning a BBL match in Perth was way back in the 2011-12 season. Between these two wins, the Sixers lost four BBL matches in Perth against the Scorchers. Sixers won the 2011/12 season game played at the WACA Ground by 7 wickets but lost the remaining three matches they played there. At the Perth Stadium, the Scorchers beat Sixers by seven wickets in the previous season.
Mitchell Mitch’s miserable captaincy record:
1/10 – Mitchell Marsh has led Perth Scorchers in 10 matches in the Big Bash League out of which the Scorchers have won only one and lost the remaining nine. The only win came against Melbourne Renegades last week. Marsh has a win percentage of 10 as captain; the lowest for any captain in BBL history. (Min: 10 games)
Milestones for Ben Dwarshuis and Sean Abbott:
