All the statistical highlights from Hobart Hurricanes’ victory over the Adelaide Strikers:

207/8 – Adelaide Strikers’ total of 207/8 is now their biggest total in the Big Bash League. It is also only the 2nd time that the Strikers have posted 200+ in a BBL match. They finished with 202/2 in the 2017-18 season finale also against the Hobart Hurricanes.

424 – The 424 runs scored by the Hurricanes and Strikers in this match makes it the 2nd highest aggregated Big Bash League match. The highest is 445 runs during the 2016-17 season match between Melbourne Renegades (222/4) and Hobart Hurricanes (223/8).

A record knock by Wade:

Marcus Stoinis’ 147* earlier this season for the Melbourne Stars against Sydney Sixers is the highest individual BBL score. Stoinis’ 147* and Wade’s 130* are also the highest individual score in the T20 format on the Australian soil.

Yet another double century stand:

203 – The partnership of 203 between D’Arcy Short and Matthew Wade is now only the 2nd 200-run stand in the history of Big Bash League. Two weeks ago, the Melbourne Stars’ pair of Marcus Stoinis and Hilton Cartwright put on 207 also for the first wicket against the Sydney Sixers.

Wells and Head move up in Strikers’ lists:

444 – Jonathan Wells now has scored 444 runs in the ongoing Big Bash League season. These are the most number of runs for the Adelaide Strikers in a BBL edition surpassing Alex Carey’s 443 in the 2017-18 edition.

Travis was on the top before the season as he gained it back from Weatherald who surpassed him in one of the earlier matches.
