Merely buying the ITT does not entitle the purchaser to bid, but to bid the purchaser must buy the ITT in the name of the person/entity desiring to bid.

Nike’s 4-year deal ending in September

The BCCI’s move comes on the back of Nike’s four-year deal ending this year in September. The leading multinational corporation engaged in design, development and manufacturing is associated with Indian cricket for a long time. Nike has designed and supplied kits for India’s men’s, women’s and U19 teams since 2006 and the 14-year association seems to be ending now.

Team India will be next in action most probably for the Australia tour now and the BCCI will be eyeing to finalise the kit sponsor before the tour gets underway. The Virat Kohli-led side is scheduled to play 3 T20Is, 4 Tests and 3 One-Day Internationals down under. But the T20I series will be rescheduled now with the BCCI announcing the dates for the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The T20 extravaganza is set to be played from September 19 to November 10. According to the earlier schedule released by Cricket Australia (CA), the T20I series was supposed to be played in October before the T20 World Cup which has been postponed now.
