The BCCI, who had held up payments of players and state associations, has released all the pending payments to the players and coaches, state associates and salaries of commentators.

The IPL franchises were also paid one installment of their share from the “Net Central Rights”.

The Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) were struggling the most for payments and didn’t have sufficient funds to hold up the DDCA league matches this year. They were granted with a payment of Rs 1.69 crore under the head: “Advance against amount due to association”.

Besides the 1.69 crore payment, the BCCI on behalf of DDCA cleared two payments for them, Rs 1.45 crore on accounts of property tax and Rs 5.54 crore as service tax.

The IPL franchises were amongst the beneficiary as well. Promoters of the Shah Rukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders and Champions Sunrisers Hyderabad received Rs 21 crore each. Last year’s bottom-ranked Kings XI Punjab received Rs 22.5 crore. The promoters of 2-time champion Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils were given Rs 23 crore each.

Top players, who hadn’t received match fees and yearly retainer fees during the last international series, also got their dues cleared.

Chief coach of India, Anil Kumble and India’s U-19 coach, Rahul Dravid; also got their dues cleared for their services in 2016. Kumble has received a payment of approx Rs 97.50 lakh collectively for the months of December and January, while Dravid received two separate payments of Rs 41.44 lakh and Rs 1.89 crore for his work in the 2016 season.

Top commentators: Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri, also got their dues which were pending for their work done during the England Test series. Both have reportedly gotten a payment of Rs 56.93 lakh (approx) each.

Fellow commentators L Sivaramakrishnan and Sanjay Manjrekar also got an amount of Rs 26.25 lakh and Rs 42 lakh respectively for the series against England.
