Brad Hodge, Damien Fleming gang up to troll Aakash Chopra on Twitter

The cricketing rivalry between India and Australia is always an entertaining one to watch. Currently, the fans are closely following the Test series between the two sides, and it promises to be an exciting contest. While the on-field action is surely going to be a thrilling contest, the former cricketers are ensuring that the contest does not stay confined to the boundary ropes. In a recent episode, former Australian cricketers Brad Hodge and Damien Fleming ganged up to troll former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra on Twitter.

The banter started with Brad Hodge posting his list of players who never played T20 cricket, but the ones who Hodge reckons would have been impactful players in the shortest format of the game. The list included Jack Hobbs, Warwick Armstrong, Viv Richards, Don Bradman, Clive Lloyd, Garry Sobers, Lance Klusener, Wasim Akram, Michael Holding, Jeff Thomson, and Tiger O’Reilly.

No Indian players?

Aakash Chopra was certainly amused to see not a single Indian player in the list compiled by Brad Hodge. Chopra reckoned that someone like Kapil Dev should have got a mention in the list somewhere. He commented on the tweet, saying, “No Kapil Dev??? ???????? in fact, not a single Indian player”.

Hodge was quick to reply and quoted, “Akash how would you like to see?”

Fleming, Hodge troll Aakash

The banter was soon joined by Damien Fleming who went on to troll Aakash Chopra for his batting. With his tweet, Fleming took an indirect dig at the Aakash’s style of play, which was predominantly defensive. He joked, “If its T20 you would be foolish not to have @cricketaakash opening”

Hodge joined the trolling comment and extended the joke for an epic burn, as he tweeted, “I want entertainment, not fall asleep”.

Looking absolutely confused at what just came his way, Aakash Chopra tried to be cheeky and playful in his response too.
