Indian Premier League brings players of all nationalities together for the sake of cricket and they all enjoy each other’s company no matter if their countries are arch rivals. Brendon McCullum of New Zealand and James Faulkner of Australia both share the dressing room for the Rajkot-based franchise Gujarat Lions.

Both the players are thorough professionals when it comes to playing cricket for any of the franchises and they enjoy themselves as well. James Faulkner was bought by the Lions after his former team Rajasthan Royals were banned from the IPL and Brendon McCullum also came in after Chennai Super Kings were banned.

Brendon who is an aggressive opener while Faulkner who is a pinch hitter with a knack for picking wickets while bowling. Both differ a lot in their playing style but when it comes to having banter, the two players then are absolute legends.

Recently they were engaged in a friendly banter over Twitter which lasted quite a few tweets and left their fans in splits. Faulkner started it off by reminding Brendon McCullum of the final of the 2015 world cup which Australia won when Faulkner successfully yorked Brendon McCullum.

However, McCullum was cheeky enough to dodge the troll as he said that he doesn’t remember playing against him to which the Australian quite cleverly provided him with a date of the game. The next tweet from McCullum left everybody on the ground as he tweeted a picture of Faulkner bringing out drinks with captioning it with “Oh I remember you!”

Faulkner was not going to hold back as he then posted a picture of him getting McCullum out on that day. The next tweet from McCullum was so hilarious that Faulkner did not have a reply to it, the Kiwi posted a picture of an actor Gary Busey who looks a bit like Faulkner and captioned it “Agh good work mate. That helps! I did think it was strange that an actor was running drinks for Aus.” This reply from McCullum left everyone laughing their heart out.
