Legendary Australian cricketer Brett Lee has recently uploaded a picture on Instagram and tagged the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. In the picture, a fan can be seen showing his tattoo, dedicated to none other than Tendulkar. The crazy cricket fan got Tendulkar’s image inked on his chest.

Lee was pleasantly shocked and promised the fan, that he will show the picture to Sachin. The former Indian cricketer is lovingly called ‘God’ by his fans. He has got tremendous followers in the sub-continent, as well as in other parts.

Admiration for Sachin

The former Aussie cricketer wrote an article on Sportstar earlier this year, where he talked about bowling to the batting legend. Lee wrote, “In my view he deserves to be acknowledged as the best batsman of all time, just as South Africa’s Jacques Kallis is entitled to be ranked the game’s greatest all-rounder.”

Tendulkar was a tough nut to crack: Lee

On bowling to Tendulkar and Brian Lara, Lee wrote that the Little Master was a tougher nut to crack. “I rate Sachin as the tougher nut to crack, citing his longevity – he played 200 Tests and 463 One Day Internationals – as reasonable justification.” “Make no mistake, on his day Brian could be as equally challenging for bowlers, but Sachin was so technically correct – the way he always played through the ‘V’ was incredible – and like a panther, he’d pounce on a poor delivery and devour it,” wrote Lee.

Brett Lee has played a lot of cricket against India and particularly against Tendulkar. The Right-arm fast bowler has got Sachin out on 14 occasions across all formats. Lee retired from cricket in the year 2012, after playing 221 ODIs and 76 Test matches for Australia. He has 380 wickets in ODIs and 310 in Test cricket. Nicknamed Binga, the New South Wales bowler has over 2500 international runs.
