Job Description
We are hiring a candidate who is an exceptional sales manager experienced in selling a pure brand narrative to advertisers, excellent in content-led sales solutions, and adept in building larger partnerships with advertisers. Someone from the video ad sales background. Bonus points if the person is less of ad inventory sales and more of video-led solution sales like selling custom-made digital/offline led IPs to brands. The candidate needs to be hands-on digital media professional with a total ad/content sales experience of > 8 years, and a high preference for working with influencer marketing platforms in India. The candidate need to have excellent contacts with advertisers within its respective region and work closely with our existing teams to drive regional targets.
Sales Manager Responsibilities
Ad Sales for acquiring New Clients for Branding/Sustenance campaigns
Pitch, close, and manage digital ad sales with media agencies and advertisers
Handle the complete sales cycle end to end, from Lead Generation to Sales Closure
Study Competition closely and plan new initiatives proactively
Create a positive brand image & awareness about Public App
Stay on top of trends in a rapidly changing media market and be well-informed about the latest happenings across various categories
Develop and maintain client relationships + convert existing relationships
Forecast revenue objectives through proper account management
Use both qualitative and quantitative research to support the benefits of brands associating with Public App
Sales Manager Requirements
4-8 years of experience in interactive ad sales with a track record of successfully managing client relations, negotiating and closing deals
Knowledge of Digital Business & Sales is mandatory
Having handled 2-3 categories among FMCG, E-Commerce, Media & Entertainment, Auto, CD, and Handsets/OEMs will be preferred
An MBA degree from a Tier 1 college will be an added advantage
Must have a great rapport with top and mid-tier digital agencies and clients
Skill set must include expertise in digital solution selling, pricing, inventory control, brand solutions, and campaign management
Strong Communication skills and a positive & go-getter attitude
Should be a top achiever in past Sales and BD stints
