Chris Gayle receives a congratulatory tweet from Yuvraj Singh

Chris Gayle, one of the greatest limited overs player completed 10000 runs in T20 cricket during his innings of 77 against Gujarat Lions. He is the first cricketer to reach the milestone. The man from West Indies plays a lot of franchise cricket and is one of the most loved cricketers all around the world. Gayle also owns the record for the highest individual score in T20 cricket; his 175 against Pune Warriors India still stands tall and will remain there for quite a while.

The whole world is congratulating this man for this milestone as there are a lot of tweets coming in from all the cricketers. Although one tweet stands out of all the other, a champion congratulating another champion is always a sight to behold. Yuvraj Singh took to the social media to wish Chris Gayle on this fantastic achievement.

He tweeted a congratulating message stating that Gayle is one of the reasons why the Indian Premier League is so entertaining. He also called his ex-teammate a legend and rightly so. Chris Gayle has been playing in the Indian Premier League since its inception. He has played for various teams in the tournament and is a seasoned T20 player. The man from Kingston, Jamaica first played in the Indian Premier League for Kolkata Knight Riders.

He did not really click with them as he failed again and again which prompted the team management of KKR to not renew his contract. Then he signed for Royal Challengers Bangalore and it was a different story altogether. He felt at home while playing for Bangalore and was at his supreme best. Hitting sixes at will, this man was scoring runs for fun for Bangalore and is still doing the same.
