Chris Morris passes a cryptic message to everyone through Zaheer Khan

Delhi Daredevils skipper Zaheer Khan, while speaking at the post-match ceremony after their 8 wicket win over Gujarat Lions, threw an amusing mystery at everyone. The leader of the DD pack appreciated Rishabh Pant and Quinton de Kock for their superb knock. But, just after finishing the chat, Zak paused for a while before taking the mic again to drop a message for everyone from his teammate Chris Morris. Morris, interestingly, had asked his skipper to say the word ‘Porcupine’ in the post-match ceremony.

“Morris has requested me to use the word ‘porcupine’ in the presentation. I have no idea what is the context, said Zaheer to a confused Allan Wilkins.” The ‘porcupine’ word left everyone scratching their heads. Zaheer, himself, didn’t have any clue about the reason behind the message.

Earlier, the DD side continued to win over the hearts of cricket fans with their consistency as they defeated the strong Gujarat Lions team in their own backyard. After being put into bat by Zaheer khan, Gujarat Lions posted 149/7 after 20 overs with the help a fighting effort from Dinesh Kartik who anchored the home team after the top order failed badly today. Rishabh Pant and Quinton de Kock made a mockery of the chase with their blazing half-centuries, helping DD secure an easy 8 wicket win.

With this win, Delhi Daredevils secured the second position in the points table with 10 points in their kitty from 5 wins in seven games.
