In a recent development, it has been known that England speedster Chris Woakes will be leaving the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp due to his national commitments. Woakes is supposed to join up his English teammates for their upcoming two-Test series against Pakistan.

Apart from him, as many as three other English players are also set to leave the tournament earlier owing to their International commitments. The three-Test specialists are Mark Wood (CSK), Ben Stokes (RR) and Moeen Ali (RCB) as England face Pakistan in a two-match Test series, starting on May 24.

Chris Woakes’ departure will be a huge loss to the RCB franchise who are still battling qualification and has a slender chance to go through. Nevertheless, the franchise took to it’s official Twitter account to thank the 29-year-old for his services. The Tweet read, “Woakesy is departing the #RCB camp to join up with his England teammates ahead of a Test Series. We’d like to thank and congratulate him for exceptional efforts, particularly early on in VIVO IPL 2018 & wish him luck for his upcoming games @chriswoakes #PlayBold.”

Ben Stokes, who was the most expensive buy in this year’s IPL will be missed by the Rajasthan Royals.
