Corey Anderson loves the Indian street food

New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson has revealed that he loves the Indian street food a lot and ‘papdi chaat’ is his favourite. He is the brand ambassador of the ongoing ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2018 in New Zealand itself having played the tournament in 2008. He answered some of the interesting questions from his fans in the video released by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The left-hander has made his name in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and spends most of his time in the country during the competition. He also revealed his favourite moment in his cricketing career so far even reflecting on a possibility that what he would’ve been doing if not for a cricketer. Memorable moment in career Starting with the food, Corey Anderson cleared that he loves the Indian street food ‘Papdi Chaat’ a lot and relishes its taste during his stint in IPL in India. He is also a big fan of Pokemon cartoon saying, “I always chose Squirtle when I was on the Game Boy!” Talking about his memorable moment of the career so far, he has picked his knock against South Africa in the semifinal of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. “Most of you will think that my ODI hundred [scored off just 36 deliveries against West Indies in 2014, at the time the fastest century in the format] would be my best game, but the situation and stage of the game matter a massive amount rather than the total. I scored 60-odd in the semi-final of the 2015 World Cup against South Africa, and it was my first time in a 50-over World Cup. All of these points, and the result of the game, made it probably one of my best and definitely up there as one of my favourites,” he said. Interestingly, Corey Anderson also said that if not for a cricketer, he would’ve designed homes as he loves to do the same. “ I love designing homes, as strange as that may seem for a cricketer. I’ve always loved it. So I’d possibly have been an architect, or an interior designer. Hopefully I can stick with cricket for a bit longer!” he concluded.
