Shreyas Iyer has led the team well but would want to get some runs under his belt ahead of the Asian Games. In the first two games, he registered scores of 8* and 11. Tilak Varma has remained unbeaten in the two games, scoring 3 and 15. The vice-captain hasn't had much to do with the bat because by the time he came to the crease, the match was almost done and dusted.

Nitish Kumar Reddy and Shivam Dube haven't been required with the bat in the first two games. However, the former was impressive in the last game, as his three-for earned him the Player of the Match award. Washington Sundar could get a go in place of Axar Patel. The off-spin-bowling all-rounder hasn't played international cricket since July.
