2. Yash Thakur
Yash Thakur has been one of the most consistent performers in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy over the last couple of years and finally got his reward when he was picked up by LSG this year. He has been a part of the league as a net bowler on several occasions, but this will be his first stint as a regular player.
The 24-year-old is a death-over specialist for Vidarbha and can even touch the 140 kph mark. He is handy even with the new ball and is probably the best Indian T20 bowler without IPL experience.
He has picked up 55 wickets in 37 T20 games at an average of less than 15 while conceding at less than 6.7. These are extraordinarily good numbers, and RCB could have taken a chance on him and invested in him as a long-term project. He was sold for 45 Lakh to LSG, and they had 1.75 crore left in the bank.
