IPL 2026: LSG vs PBKS, Match 68 - Top player battles to watch out for
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will host the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in match No. 68 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium on Friday, May 23.
1. Mitchell Marsh vs Arshdeep Singh
The LSG opener Mitchell Marsh is undoubtedly their best batter in IPL 2026, scoring 563 runs with a strike rate of 163.19, which also includes three fifty-plus scores and a hundred. At Ekana, where LSG have played most of their games, Marsh will know the conditions better than anyone and will look to pick the bones out of anything loose delivered at him.
But he will go up against PBKS’ premier fast bowler Arshdeep Singh. The left-arm pacer, after a slow start to the season, has picked up 14 wickets, at an average of 34.93, and with an economy rate of 9.78. This powerplay battle will most likely decide which side will take a better start.
