Shai Hope is arguably the best batters from West Indies currently, and has slowly cemented his name as an all-format player for the Caribbean side. In 2025, he had an unforgettable campaign in international cricket, scoring a staggering 1760 runs in just 40 outings. He didn’t have a single three-digit score in the first half of the year, but July brought him some luck with his unbeaten 102 in the T20I against Australia.

Hope then carried his form into the longer formats as well, scoring two more hundreds in ODIs and a solitary ton in red-ball that came against New Zealand. To add to his tally, the Barbados-born also scored nine half-centuries in the year, and will now be hoping to carry forward the form into the next year as well.
