Harmanpreet Kaur's Mumbai Indians are making a mockery of the Women's Premier League as they are yet to lose a game in the tournament so far. They steamrolled a star-studded Delhi Capitals side in their previous outing to make it three wins in three. They are the team to beat in the inaugural edition of the tournament.
Although they have won all three of their games so far in comprehensive fashion, they will be wary of their upcoming opponents, UP Warriorz, who swatted aside Royal Challengers Bangalore in their previous outing to make it two wins in three matches.
Here’s Mumbai Indians predicted XI for the 7th match against UP Warriorz:
Openers – Yastika Bhatia (wk), Hayley Matthews
Indian wicketkeeper-batter Yastika Bhatia finally got herself among the runs against the Delhi Capitals after a couple of quiet games for the Mumbai-based franchise. The elegant opener amassed 41 runs in 32 deliveries to provide a solid start to her side, chasing a modest target set by their opponents.
Yastika's opening partner Hayley Matthews had another memorable day in the field for the Mumbai Indians as she compiled another brilliant all-round performance for her side. She returned with terrific bowling figures of 3/19 in her four overs and scored a handy 32 at the top of the order for Mumbai Indians.
Middle order - Nat Sciver-Brunt, Harmanpreet Kaur (c)
Following a rollicking half-century against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, veteran Englishwomen Nat Sciver-Brunt had another decent outing for MI in their previous match. She was disciplined with the new ball for her side despite going wicketless in her three-over spell. She also chipped in with hand runs in the middle order against the Capitals.
Harmanpreet Kaur's captaincy has been on point in the tournament so far as her side remains unbeaten in the inaugural edition of the competition. While the bowlers set up another comprehensive victory against the Delhi Capitals, Kaur remained at the crease to guide her side to their third successive victory.
All-rounders - Amelia Kerr, Amanjot Kaur, Pooja Vastrakar
While Mumbai Indians clipped the wings of the high-flying Delhi Capitals in a clinical outing, Amelia Kerr had a dissipating outing in comparison to her usual high standards. She leaked runs at an alarming rate in a low-scoring affair and did not get a chance to bat either as her side chased down the modest target without breaking a sweat.
Such has been the dominance of the Mumbai-based outfit in the tournament so far that young Indian all-rounder Amanjot Kaur has not been called into action even once in her three matches so far. Her only contribution have come in for the team while fielding.
Pooja Vastrakar bowled just over in the previous outing against the Delhi Capitals but scalped the crucial wicket of Alice Capsey to peg back their opponents. She was not required during the batting innings either, as Mumbai Indians chased down the target with eight wickets remaining in the hut.
Bowlers - Issy Wong, Humaira Kazi, Saika Ishaque, Jintimani Kalita
After going wicketless against RCB, young English pacer Issy Wong brought her A game for her side against the Delhi Capitals. She returned with one of the best bowling figures by a fast bowler in the tournament so far, scalping three wickets for just ten runs in her four-over spell.
Saika Ishaque has been one of the brightest stars of the inaugural edition of the tournament. The 27-year-old left-arm spinner has been at the heart of Mumbai Indians' bowling attack and was at her usual best against the Capitals. She got rid of the dangerous opening pair of Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma, returning with 3/13 in her three overs to take her wicket tally to nine in just three appearances.

Hayley Matthews, Yastika Bhatia (wk), Harmanpreet Kaur (c), Nat Sciver-Brunt, Amelia Kerr, Amanjot Kaur, Pooja Vastrakar, Humaira Kazi, Issy Wong, Jintimani Kalita, Saika Ishaque
