Anjali Sarvani could’ve been magnificent for UPW with her left-arm bowling. Along with the right-arm pacer Saima Thakor, she was expected to provide a variety to UP’s pace attack. However, the speedster had a horrendous season as she appeared in four matches and took only two wickets at an awful economy of 11.44.
Against RCB at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, she picked up Sabbineni Meghana’s scalp but gave away 41 runs. Her indisciplined bowling helped the Challengers as they posted a mammoth total of 198 runs on the board.
