A 6'5" fast bowler clocking over 145 kmph and beating batters for pace and bounce is a spectacular sight to behold. That is what India has found in Gurnoor Brar. An archetype of a fast-bowler you would associate with teams like Australia and South Africa, Brar's hit-the-deck bowling and high pace have propelled him to contention for India's white-ball sides.

Brar has taken 11 wickets in his six ODI appearances and has rushed batters with his pace and bounce. He has featured in just a handful of IPL games but has already been regarded as a prospect for the future and is in contention for future opportunities leading up to the ODI World Cup next year in South Africa.
