Sooryavanshi also had a confrontation with the opposition bowler during the final of the 2025 Under-19s Asia Cup in Dubai. The left-handed opener made a flying start to India's run chase, scoring 26 runs off just nine balls before being dismissed by Ali Raza towards the start of the fourth over. The Bihar cricketer gestured to the bowler, which indicated if he considered Raza the same as the mud on his boots.
The Rajasthan Royals starlet did not react well to the bowler's aggressive celebrations. While heading back to the pavilion, the opening batter angrily pointed to his shoes, suggesting something derogatory. India U-19 went on to suffer a massive 191-run defeat in the final after failing to chase down 348.
