1. Varun Aaron

Varun Aaron recently announced his retirement from red-ball domestic cricket. However, once the fastest bowler in Indian cricket, Aaron will continue to play white-ball games. Aaron played 18 games for India and picked 29 wickets. He has also played 52 IPL matches and taken 44 wickets with the best of 3/16.
He had played two matches for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022 when GT became the champions. However, he went unsold in IPL 2023 and 2024 auctions. Varun Aaron hasn't lost a step and can still move the ball quickly. The seasoned bowler has added some new tricks to his repertoire, including an efficient slower ball. He has experience with him also and his speed could help GT in IPL 2024 make up for Shami’s absence.
